PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS APLIKASI FOCUSKY TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATA PELAJARAN TIK KELAS VIII DI SMP ASY-SYAHIDA

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low variation in the use of learning media in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) subjects at SMP Asy-Syahida Dukupuntang, which has resulted in suboptimal student learning outcomes. One alternative learning medium that can be used is the Focusky application, which features a Zoom User Interface (ZUI), enabling it to present material in a more engaging, interactive, and easily understandable way for students. This study aims to determine the use of Focusky application-based learning media, to determine student learning outcomes in the ICT subject, and to analyze the effect of using Focusky application-based learning media on the learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at SMP Asy-Syahida Dukupuntang. This study uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental approach and a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The research population consisted of all eighth-grade students at SMP Asy-Syahida, totaling 52 students, all of whom were used as the research sample through a total sampling technique. The sample was divided into an experimental class and a control class. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and the Independent Sample t-test. The results of this study indicate that the use of Focusky application-based learning media has a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes in the ICT subject, so that it can serve as an effective alternative learning medium for improving the quality of the learning process and outcomes.
