INTEGRASI PEMBELAJARAN MENDALAM DAN LITERASI DIGITAL TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN MENULIS AKADEMIK MAHASISWA
Abstract
This study aims to describe the integration of deep learning and digital literacy toward students' academic writing skills. A descriptive qualitative method was applied using open-ended questionnaires distributed via Google Forms to 18 students as research participants. Data were analyzed through content analysis comprising reduction, display, and conclusion stages. The results indicate that: (1) students applied deep learning strategies through material repetition, note-taking, academic discussions, as well as the Feynman Technique and Spaced Repetition; (2) digital literacy was utilized through platforms such as Google Scholar, ChatGPT, Gemini, YouTube, and Zotero for finding references and composing texts; (3) main difficulties included constructing formal sentences, developing ideas coherently, and validating digital sources; (4) all respondents reported significant improvement in writing skills; and (5) all respondents stated that the integration of both aspects positively influenced their academic writing ability. These findings confirm that deep learning and digital literacy are complementary and mutually reinforcing in developing students' academic writing skills.
