PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA LEMBAR KERJA PESERTA DIDIK (LKP) DENGAN ECLIPSE CROSSWORD PADA MATA PELAJARAN BIOLOGI KELAS X

Abstract

Learning media refers to anything that can be used in the teaching and learning
process as a means of delivering messages or information that can stimulate
students’ attention and concentration in learning. This study aims to determine the
feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of student learning activities in the form of
a Student Worksheet as a learning medium for the topic of biodiversity for senior
high school students. This research applies Research and Development (R&D) with
the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation)
and uses a Likert scale. The study was conducted on a limited scale with tenth-
grade students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bungo. The analysis included
curriculum analysis, teacher needs analysis, student needs analysis, and student
characteristics analysis. The assessment results show that the Eclipse Crossword-
based Student Worksheet (LKPD) is declared highly feasible and practical.
Validation results indicate a high level of feasibility, namely 92 percent from
language experts, 91 percent from material experts, and 94 percent from design
experts, which indicates that the worksheet meets the standards of content quality,
readability, and appearance. In terms of practicality, the worksheet is easy to use
for both teachers and students due to its attractive appearance, neat layout, and
clear instructions. Teachers can easily integrate it into the learning process without
additional tools, while students can access it independently via laptops or
smartphones. Based on the questionnaire results, most students felt happy,
motivated, and more active in learning because this worksheet provides an
interactive and enjoyable learning experience that aligns with the needs of twenty-
first century learning.
