Abstract

This article discusses feminist counseling from a theoretical perspective through a comprehensive literature analysis with the aim of understanding the concepts, principles, and implications of this approach in empowering women. Feminist counseling emerged as a response to gender injustice and focuses on recognizing the dynamics of power that influence women's experiences in social and psychological contexts. Through this literature study, the article explores various theories and models of feminist counseling that emphasize the importance of critical awareness, strengthening identity, and creating a safe space for women to express themselves and overcome various psychological challenges. Findings from the literature review indicate that the integration of feminist principles in counseling practice can strengthen independence, improve mental well-being, and encourage inclusive transformation. This article is expected to be an important reference for practitioners and academics in applying a feminist approach effectively in the world of counseling
