PANDANGAN TENAGA PENDIDIKAN MENGENAI GAJI GURU HONORER DI INDONESIA TERHADAP SILA KELIMA PANCASILA DI SMPN 24 MEDAN

Abstract

The welfare of honorary teachers in Indonesia is still an issue that requires serious

attention, especially in relation to the implementation of social justice values as

contained in the Fifth Principle of Pancasila, namely Social Justice for All

Indonesian People. One of the main problems faced by honorary teachers is the low

salary that is not commensurate with their workload and responsibilities in the

world of education. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to explore the

views of educators on the issue of honorary teacher salaries in relation to the

principle of social justice. Data collection techniques were carried out through

observation, interviews, and documentation in order to gain a deeper

understanding of the reality faced by honorary teachers. The number of respondents

in this study was five people from educators at SMPN 24 Medan, who were selected

based on their relevance and experience in dealing with the issue of honorary

teacher welfare. The results of this study are expected to provide a clearer picture

of how honorary teachers view their welfare in the context of social justice and the

extent to which existing policies reflect the principles of justice mandated by

Pancasila.
