“JELAJAH PECAHAN”: PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS WEB INTERAKTIF UNTUK PEMBELAJARAN MENGURUTKAN PECAHAN PADA SISWA KELAS V SDN PETAPAN 1
Abstract
Ordering fractions remains challenging for fifth-grade students because they tend to compare numerators and denominators separately (whole-number bias). This study aimed to develop an interactive web-based learning medium called "Jelajah Pecahan" (Fraction Exploration) for fifth-grade students at SDN Petapan 1 and to analyze its feasibility, practicality, and impact on learning outcomes. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model and a one-group pretest-posttest design involving 29 students. Instruments included validation sheets, response questionnaires, and tests. Data were analyzed using feasibility percentages, N-gain scores, and error frequencies. All figures in this article represent field data used to illustrate the analysis process. Based on the data, validation scores were 95.83% from subject matter experts and 96.88% from media experts (highly feasible); practicality ratings were 93.44% from eight teachers and 90.69% from 29 students (highly practical); the average score rose from 51.03 to 82.59; the mastery rate (based on a passing threshold of 75) increased from 0% to 93.10%; the average N-gain was 0.65 (moderate); and all five types of errors decreased. In conclusion, the development and analysis procedures are applicable, though the medium's effectiveness cannot be definitively determined due to the absence of a control group and the nature of the data. The implication is that teachers can utilize this media design to address specific errors in fraction ordering, while future research should test the medium using a comparison group.
