PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA NEARPOD TERHADAP MINAT BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN INFORMATIKA DI SMPN 1 KRAMATMULYA

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using Nearpod learning media on students' learning interest in Informatics subjects at SMPN 1 Kramatmulya. The method used in this study was quantitative with an experimental approach using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study consisted of students at SMPN 1 Kramatmulya, with the research sample consisting of 35 students from class VIII G who were selected using purposive sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire as the main tool for measuring students' learning interest, supported by interviews and observations as complementary data. The data analysis techniques included validity testing, reliability testing, descriptive statistical analysis, normality testing, and hypothesis testing using SPSS. The normality test was conducted using the Shapiro-Wilk method, with a significance value of > 0.05 indicating that the data were normally distributed, while a significance value of < 0.05 indicating that the data were not normally distributed. Hypothesis testing was conducted at a significance level of 0.05, with the criterion that if the significance value was < 0.05, H0 was rejected. The results of the study showed that there was a significant effect of using Nearpod learning media on students' learning interest.
