Abstract

The rapid development of artificial intelligence technology has transformed educational practices in schools. This study aims to analyze the integration of Generative Artificial Intelligence in deep learning instructional models to improve student creativity at SD Negeri 3 Sukajaya and SMPN 6 Darangdan Purwakarta. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach involving teachers and students as research subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings revealed that the integration of Generative AI created more interactive, student-centered, and meaningful learning experiences. Students became more confident in expressing ideas, producing creative projects, and solving problems critically. Teachers also demonstrated innovation in designing digital learning activities aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum. The implementation of deep learning supported students in understanding concepts more deeply through contextual and reflective learning. Although several challenges were found, including limited digital literacy and technological facilities, Generative AI has significant potential to enhance creativity and twenty-first century skills in elementary and junior high school education.
