ANALISIS PERMASALAHAN BELAJAR MURID KELAS 4 DI SDN 20 KALUMBUK

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the learning difficulties experienced by fourth-grade students at SDN 20 Kalumbuk, Padang City. Learning difficulties are obstacles that affect students’ achievement of optimal learning outcomes and therefore need to be identified early, especially at the elementary school level. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews with teachers and students, documentation studies, and learning motivation questionnaires. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that students’ learning difficulties were influenced by internal and external factors. Internal factors included low learning motivation, difficulties in understanding abstract concepts, especially in mathematics and science, low reading interest, and lack of self-confidence during the learning process. External factors included less varied teaching methods, limited interactive learning media, lack of family support, and excessive use of gadgets. The recommended solutions include the implementation of innovative learning models, the use of technology-based interactive media, regular diagnostic assessments of learning difficulties, individual guidance for students, and stronger collaboration between schools and families.
