ANALISIS LANDASAN HISTORIS TERHADAP PERKEMBANGAN SISTEM PENDIDIKAN DAN PEMBELAJARAN ISLAM

Abstract

History is the state of the past with all kinds of events or activities based on certain concepts. History is full of information containing events, models, concepts, theories, practices, morals, ideals, forms, and so on. The historical foundation of education gives rise to historical studies about the journey of Indonesia's national education that took place during certain periods in the past. Islamic Religious Education has a long history that has significantly contributed to the formation of Islamic civilization. Education is not an entity that stands alone in a vacuum. It is the result of a long process of evolution of thought, events, and policies that occurred in the past. Based on the literature review, this research uses a descriptive-analytical approach to understand the relationship between the historical development of the education system and learning in Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to understand the historical development of Islamic education and learning based on historical foundations as an improvement to the current education system. The results of this research indicate that education in Islam is not only forward-looking but also draws valuable lessons from the past (historical education). So basically, the historical foundation provides a perspective on how the struggles of national figures and past government policies have shaped the current educational structure and learning methods.
