PENGARUH STRES KERJA, DUKUNGAN ORGANISASI, DAN BEBAN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA GURU: SURVEI DI MADRASAH ALIYAH KOTA TANGERANG SELATAN
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of work stress, organizational support, and workload on teacher performance at Madrasah Aliyah (MA) in South Tangerang City. The background of this study is based on the important role of teachers in improving the quality of education, as well as the existence of various factors that can influence teacher performance, such as work pressure, organizational support, and the burden of tasks carried. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory survey method. The study population was all 134 MA teachers in South Tangerang City, with a sample of 100 teachers determined using the Slovin formula. The data collection technique was carried out through questionnaires, while data analysis used multiple linear regression to test the relationship between variables. The results of the study indicate that partially work stress has a negative and significant effect on teacher performance, organizational support has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, and workload has a negative and significant effect on teacher performance. Simultaneously, these three variables have a strong influence on teacher performance. These findings indicate that increasing organizational support and good stress and workload management are very important in improving teacher performance. Thus, this study implies that educational institutions need to create a conducive work environment, increase organizational support, and manage workload proportionately to improve teacher performance.
