PEMBELAJARAN DARING MATA KULIAH BAHASA INDONESIA DALAM TIGA PERIODE PANDEMI COVID 19 : PERSEPSI DOSEN DAN MAHASISWA

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore the perceptions of students and lecturers about online lectures in the three periods of this pandemic. The formulations discussed in this study are the interest of students and lecturers in online learning, the online learning application platform used, and the inhibiting factors of online learning. This research method uses descriptive qualitative methods with surveys to students of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training at IAIN Pekalongan Class of 2020. The results show that (1) students and lecturers' perceptions of online learning have shifted, from a high interest in offline learning at the beginning of the pandemic, shift to a strong interest in online learning at the end of the pandemic; (2) online learning application platforms used and in demand by students and lecturers are WhatsApp Groups, Google Classroom, Zoom/Google Meet, YouTube, and Instagram; (3) the inhibiting factor for online learning lies in the difficulty of getting signals and the different abilities of students in understanding the material taught by lecturers online. This study concludes that the perceptions of students and lecturers about online lectures in the three periods during the pandemic continue to shift. Students and lecturers prefer to conduct lectures online rather than offline.
