PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN COURSE REVIEW HORAY (CRH) BERBANTUAN MEDIA QUESTION CARD TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA PESERTA DIDIK KELAS V SD NEGERI 13 KURANJI

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low science (IPA) learning outcomes of grade V students at SDN 13 Kuranji, Padang City. It aimed to examine the effect of the Course Review Horay (CRH) learning model assisted by Question Card media on students' science learning outcomes. A quasi-experimental design with a posttest-only control group design was used. The population and sample consisted of all 52 grade V students, taken through saturated sampling; class VA (25 students) served as the experimental group receiving the CRH model assisted by Question Card, while class VB (27 students) served as the control group receiving conventional instruction. Data were collected through a 20-item multiple-choice achievement test that had passed validity, reliability, difficulty, and discrimination analysis, with a reliability coefficient of 0.934 (very high). Descriptive analysis showed a mean posttest score of 83.60 for the experimental class and 65.56 for the control class. Prerequisite tests (Shapiro-Wilk and Levene's test) confirmed normal and homogeneous data distributions, so hypothesis testing used an independent samples t-test, yielding t-count = 8.521 > t-table = 1.675 at a 5% significance level. Thus, H0 was rejected and H1 accepted, indicating that the CRH model assisted by Question Card media has a significant effect on students' science learning outcomes.
